Rudby Hall is Grade 2* listed because of it’s architectural and historic significance. You can read the official Historic England list entry here – given when the the Hall  was named  ‘Skutterskelfe Hall’. You will notice that several other properties around the Hall are also listed. This concentration of listed buildings is why anyone interested in English history will enjoy a visit.
